Commissioned by Henry and Linda Lopez of San Marcos Texas. Original in composition and style, this painting was inspired by Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, two of Mexico’s beloved artist. Frida sits in the center of the painting as if waiting for Diego, while his self portrait looks over her shoulder. In this painting, her hands are accentuated to highlight her artistic expression and the impact it has on those who love her and her art. Her fingers are intertwined as was her life with her art and her love of life.
